The Bordeaux set is made with a vintage 18k gold centerpiece from the 1880s, pearls, garnets, green diamonds, white diamonds and 18k gold findings. This set was inspired by the rich red wines of Bordeaux and the idea of the ‘bouquet’ of a fine wine.
The City of Lights set is made with an extremely rare platinum, 18k gold, diamond and emerald pendant from the early 1900s (some of the best emeralds I have ever seen in the way of color), the necklace is made with pearls, white diamonds and 14k gold findings. This set reminds me of Paris with the very Art Deco style row of emeralds that remind me of the Eiffel Tower and the twinkling white lights of all the diamonds!
The Deauville necklace is made with a vintage 18k white and rose gold bow encrusted with diamonds and a single spinel, a Tahitian pearl drop, grey cultured and freshwater pearls and 14k gold findings. This necklace was inspired by the early years of Coco Channel when had her boutique in Deauville during the war and was one of the first designers to use jersey for her haute couture. I adore this simple diamond bow that can be worn as easily with a pair of jeans as with an evening gown.
‘La Cote d’Azur’ set is made with aquamarine, blue diamonds, cultured pearls and 14k gold findings. This set was inspired by the blue waters of the south of France.
‘La Cote d’Opale’ necklace is made with an Australian opal carved mermaid pendant, blue diamonds, pearls, topaz, 8mm round Australian opals hand knotted on silk and 14k gold findings. This necklace is inspired by the waters of the Cote d’Opale where I imagine mermaids frolicking in the waves just out of sight!
The Provence necklace is made with pearls, rubies, sapphires, citrine, peridot, a vintage French 10k enamel flower centerpiece and 14k gold findings. I love Provence with the smells of lavender in the air and little flowers peaking out of every nook and cranny and this sweet necklace reminds me of many a trip to the region.
The Monaco set is made with a vintage sterling and gold wash centerpiece set with white sapphires and a large orange sapphire flower, a Tahitian black pearl, a teardrop white pearl, a gold teardrop pearl, faceted sapphire nuggets, mixed pearls and 14k gold findings with diamond circle earrings. I love this set!!! It is so much better in person than in the photograph because all the sapphires sparkle like crazy, this piece reminds me of the combination of vibrant and yet refined Monaco.
The Notre Dame de Paris set is made with a vintage garnet cross from the 1870s, 22k gold shields, pearls, garnets, black diamonds and 14k gold findings. This set reminds me of Notre Dame with its rich red light that shines through the rose window and the gothic architecture.
The blue ‘Umbrellas of Cherbourg’ earrings are made with moldivite flowers, blue diamonds, grey pearls and 14k gold findings.
The yellow ‘Umbrellas of Cherbourg’ earrings are made with citrine flowers, green diamonds, pearls and 14k golf findings.
These were named after a famous French musical.
The Eiffel tower necklace is made with a vintage 18k gold French centerpiece from 1910, pearls, black diamonds, black garnets and 14k gold findings.
The Toulouse necklace is made with an 18k gold French centerpiece, tourmaline, pearls and 14k gold findings. Toulouse is called the pink city and I couldn’t help but think of it when I made this piece.
The Versailles set is made with a very unusual vintage French 14k gold centerpiece that is set with onyx and pearls, a Tahitian pearl drop, white pearls, black and white diamonds, black garnets and 14k gold findings. This piece reminds me of the regal halls of Versailles and is one of my favorites of this collection.
The 'France in Bloom’ collection is inspired by the budding of spring and some of my favorite cities, regions and monuments of France, my second home. Enjoy!
