The Marianne (symbol of France after the Revolution) cameo is from around 1810 and has been mended although I find the mending adds charm to this piece, the cameo is carved out of alabaster and set in an unusual antique black branch-like setting, smoky quartz, moonstone, pearls, black garnets, jasper, antiqued sterling and 14k gold-filled findings.
