The Hidden Treasures collection was created using shells found on the beaches of Cap d’Agde which is a town in the South of France nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and Pyrenees mountains. It was here that I happened upon hundreds of shells that had naturally drilled holes which to me was a hidden treasure just waiting to be found. Each piece of jewellery is made with a combination of a seashell and a myriad of precious and semiprecious stones as well as freshwater, cultured, and Tahitian pearls. I hope that these pieces will inspire the imaginary mermaid in all of us and allow our own hidden treasures to emerge to the surface.
