Beginner’s Wire Wrapping Class

This beginners class will familiarize the student with techniques essential to creating jewelry with beads and wire starting with working with headpins and moving on to making links, clustering gems, making decorative spirals and working with briolette cut stones to create unique and creative jewelry. Supplies are included along with a book on the basics of wire wrapping. Each student must bring their own pair of flat nose pliers, round nose pliers and cutters.

This intermediate class will be focused on creating intricate chandelier earrings using filigree forms. Each student must bring their own supplies and pair of flat nose pliers, round nose pliers and cutters. Supply lists will be emailed to student.

Wildflower Set

This intermediate to advanced class will familiarize the student with techniques essential to creating a princess necklace set. Supplies are not included although instructions for the princess set will be supplied. Each student must bring their own pair of flat nose pliers, round nose pliers and cutters along with list of supplies, which will be given upon signing up for the class.

Vintage Button and Found Object Bracelet

This Intermediate class is based on using vintage buttons and found objects to create a cluster bracelet on chain. Everyone is encouraged to bring their treasures in order to use them in their unique piece. Each student must bring their own supplies and pair of flat nose pliers, round nose pliers and cutters. Supply lists will be emailed to student.

Grape Cluster Set

This intermediate class is based on using onion cut stones and chain to create grape clusters and focuses on wire wrapping techniques. Each student must bring their own supplies and pair of flat nose pliers, round nose pliers and cutters.

Antique Watch Bracelet Class

This intermediate class is focused on the creation of a unique watch bracelet with symbolic objects hidden in each watchcase much like miniatures shadowbox. General supplies are included along with a book on the basics of wire wrapping however each student must bring four vintage ladies watch cases with or without works and their own pair of flat nose pliers, round nose pliers and cutters. Supply lists will be emailed to student.

Cherry Necklace and Earring Class

This advanced class will familiarize the student with new ways to wire wrap in order to create the cherry set. Each student must bring their own bead supplies and their own pair of flat nose pliers, round nose pliers and cutters. Supply list will be emailed to students.

Amulet Necklace Class

This intermediate class is centered around creating an amulet or keepsake necklace using each persons stash of found objects such as buttons, coins, medals and other objects in order to create a unique creation for each student . Students must be familiar with wire wrapping techniques in order to take this course. General supplies are included along with a book on the basics of wire wrapping however each student is required to bring their own keepsakes to use on their creation as will as their own pair of flat nose pliers, round nose pliers and cutters. Supply lists will be emailed to student.

All my classes are taught at Alexander's Bead Bazaar in Seattle, Wa. I believe that in order for people to learn in a relaxed and encouraging enviornment, classes must be limited in size; therefore, each of my classes is limited to six students. The cost of each class is $100 per person.
