The bluebell's generic name is Endymion, which is linked to the Greek Endymion who was put into an eternal sleep by the moon Goddess, Selene, because she wanted him to be rooted in one spot on a hillside so she could kiss him when she rose every evening. The bluebell is a spring flower that is associated with kindness and constancy. The delicate flowers of the blue bell invoke a feeling of kindness while the vibrant blue shades are indicative of a strong and consistent personality. To have consistency without rigidity and kindness with strength is to have the personality of the bluebell. The Box

The box is adorned with lapis, blue topaz, sapphires, 22k gold vermille and carved iolite leaves all sewn on raw silk. The inside of the box is lined with hand made Japanese paper and a raw silk cushion to house the bluebell when it is not being worn or admired. The box is a decorative addition to the owner's dressing table or nightstand.
