The buttercup is a delightful wildflower than can be found anywhere there is moist soil, although they seem to be the most abundant in the early fall. The charming buttercup always conjures images of childhood, being that it is one of the only plants that children are allowed to play with and pick without running the risk of incurring the wraith of an adult. The game of holding a buttercup under one's chin to see if one likes butter or not, also works with the buttercup necklace, if the citrine leaves a glowing yellow shadow under the chin than the secret is out. The buttercup is a joyful flower that hopefully will fill the heart with childhood memories while giving the wearer a wildflower that will never fade with time. The buttercup necklace is made with amber, citrine, yellow jade and gold. Amber is one of the most powerful healing stones and is formed by petrified pitch. Amber is extremely useful in strengthening tissues in the brain and in the nervous system while drawing out negativity from the body. Amber is also seen as a deflector of negative energy in the sense that it lets people see the beauty in others by keeping other people's negativity from touching their soul. Citrine is thought to support our inspiration for life and aid in ones moving towards their life purpose. Yellow jade symbolizes grace, charity and faith and is supposed to help alleviate all forms of sorrow. The bright yellows and rich gold of the buttercup was made for the person who loves to be carefree and in touch with there inner child, even through moments of grief, the yellow of the buttercup is for the individual who can appreciate the brighter side of life.

 

The Box

The box is adorned with French silk velvet material that has Baltic amber surrounding the delicate velvet squares and one single piece of butterscotch colored Persian amber situated in the center of the box to remind the viewer of the shape of the buttercup . The inside of the box is lined with brocade and Japanese hand screened paper adorned with a vintage velvet thumbprint leaves that have specks of Baltic amber and vintage silk bows hiding in the corners. The buttercup box lightens up a bedroom by casting its yellow glow even when the sun has yet to rise.
